He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hoopes and Ruth Hoopes; and his siblings, Wayne Hoopes and Allene Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Louann (Lowrance); his siblings, Annabel Burgess and Leonard Hoopes; his children, Valerie Healy (John), Ronald Hoopes and Vicki Lindsay; his grandchildren, Krystol Lindsay, Erica Berry (Bobby), Lacy Lindsay, Tiffany Lindsay, Cassie Healy and Jessica Tracy; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Lindsay, Halee Berry, Gracie Lindsay, Hayden Berry, Ava Davis and Brett Breitling.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory to Avondale United Methodists Church, American Heart Association, or a charity of your choice.
