He was predeceased by: his parents, Erasmo Anselmo and Maria Mistretta; his brother Carl Anselmo; his parents-in-law, Lena Sola and Matteo Sola; and his sister-in-law Katherine Sola.

He is survived by: his wife Rachel Anselmo (Sola); his son Edward Joseph Anselmo (Rosara Anselmo); his grandsons, Angelo Erasmo and Giovanni Matteo; his son Matthew Carl Anselmo (Martalea Anselmo); his grandchildren, Matteo Christopher and Malachi John; his daughter May Lena; his sister-in-law Nina Anselmo; and his sibling's children, Eddie Anselmo (family: Paul Anselmo) and Mary Ancona.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the White Chapel Funeral Home (6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (309 S Stewart Rd, Liberty, MO 64068). A committal service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:30 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119). A reception will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (309 S Stewart Rd, Liberty, MO 64068).
