He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin John and Gertrude F. Zimmer (Wachowski); his sister Joyce Benzshawel; his grandson Andrew Zimmer, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Anna Zimmer.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Jay Zimmer (Christi), Nancy McFarland, Andrew Zimmer and Stacey Gidman; his grandchildren, Jason (Zandra), Leslie, Kelley (Jeff), Melissa, Stephanie (Steve), Lindsey (Matt), Dana (Brandon), Michelle, Galen, Grace, Graham, Gabrielyn, Gareth and Gentle; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Kayla, Dylan, Gavin, Kaleb, Christian, Camden, Madison, Morgan and Kadence; his siblings, Carol Gagnon, Kenneth Zimmer and Wayne Zimmer (Sue); and his siblings-in-law, Gordon West and Jeanne West. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
