It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Vern Slavin (Gladstone, Missouri), born in Weatherby, Missouri, who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Slavin and Irene Slavin. He is survived by: his wife Julia; his children, Rod, Rodney Slavin (Karen) of San Diego, David Slavin of Kansas City and Verna Brooks (John) of Shawnee; and his sister Patricia Myers of Liberty. He is also survived by 8 grand-children and 12 great grand-children.
