It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Joseph Shields (Gladstone, Missouri), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe L. Shields and Aura C. Shields; his sister Patricia Shields Delhay; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Delhay and Leona Christensen Shields.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ellen Atchley of Gladstone; his brother Roscoe Shields, Jr. of Lincoln; and his sister-in-law Barbara Pope of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many grand nieces and nephews.
