He was predeceased by : his parents, John Gibbs and Eleanor Gibbs (Johnson); and his siblings, John, James Gibbs, Betty Cramlett and Virginia Stevenson.
He is survived by : his wife Doris Haeffner-Craig; his children, Kim Manning (Demetrius) of Kansas City, MO, Joey Gibbs (Samantha) of Glasgow, MO and Stacey Sanders (Ross) of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Hilary, Haden Prentzler, Miranda Cooper and Rhealee Gibbs; his sister Mary Lou Gross of Oceanside, CA; his siblings-in-law, Joan Gibbs of Liberty, MO, Anne Gibbs of Springdale, AR, Elaine Unger of New Haven, MO and Joe Stevenson of Blue Springs, MO; his niece Judy Morris (Larry) of Columbia, MO.; and his pet Pumpkin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a private graveside memorial service for the immediate family only, will be held at Washington Cemetery on May 1, 2020, with Rev. Don White officiating.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Glasgow United Methodist Church or the Missouri Cancer Associates.
