With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Copeland Jr. of Glasgow, Missouri, who passed away on December 16, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Copeland Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Benjamin Copeland Sr. and Opal Charity Copeland (Hughes); his wife Norma Jean Naylor (Norma Jean Naylor); his son Thomas Ray; his sisters, Lila Lawson and Joy Duren; and his brothers-in-law, Harmon Lawson and Bill Duren.
He is survived by : his children, Cathy Thornton (Bill), Gary Copeland (Linda Riggs) and Colleen Wegener (Les); and his grandchildren, Christopher Thornton (Samantha), Jessica Copeland, Janelle Copeland (Sean Blauvelt), Jennifer Copeland, Cody Copeland, Duane Wegener and Carl Wegener (Maeghan). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
For public health concerns attendees at the visitation and funeral service are encouraged to wear a face mask and practice social distancing where possible.
Memorials are suggested, in lieu of flowers, to either Woodlandville United Methodist Scholarship Fund Church or Hometown Homecare.
