She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dallas "Catfish" and Ina Edwards (Carr); her husband Lyndell Wood of Golden City; her grandchildren, Lynetta (Wood), Keith Smith of Bolivar, Steffani (Wood), Clay Miller of Golden City, Micah Wood of Sarcoxie and Marissa Wood of Golden City; her great grandchildren, Addison, Bridgette and Evelyn; her siblings, Louise Hood of Florence, Alice Perry of Joplin, David Edwards of Northville and Dick (Lynette Edwards) of Racine, Missouri; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Plank of Webb City and Grace Ann Wood of Carthage. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
