It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Shockley (Goodman, Missouri), born in Gravette, Arkansas, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Dean Shockley, Sr. and Mary Delores Rowden Shockley; her son Brandon Lee Slemmer; and her siblings, Steve Shockley and Hazel Marie Shockley.
She is survived by : her children, Kristina Fontana of Neosho, Missouri and Calvin Slemmer of Kansas City, Missouri; her grandchildren, Chenoa Fontana, Lola Fontana and Jeffrey "Bubby" Moyer, Jr.; and her siblings, Joe Shockley, Jr. of Joplin, Marvin Coy of Carl Junction, Missouri, Mary Riggs of Joplin and Lola May Fraughton of Joplin. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews, and 25 great-nieces and nephews.
