Though Harlan may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Smothers and Freeda Fulkerson Smothers; and his sister Tonya Ross. He is survived by: his wife Doris; and his children, Sarah Golinski (Bernie) of Jackson, Caleb Smothers (Kelli) of Jackson and Bethany Kluesner (Scot) of New Hamburg. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital in Harlan Smothers honor.
