He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leroy and Hazel Lenora Tye (Smith); his wife JoAnn Singer (Ellison); and his brother John Tye. He is survived by: his children, Clint Tye (Pam) of Blue Springs, MO and Tracy Wren (Brett) of Grain Valley, MO; and his siblings, Joel Tye of Odessa, MO, Joyce Schemmer (Marvin) of Odessa, MO and Virginia Bertz of Higginsville, MO. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
