It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nina Katherine Young of Gravois Mills, Missouri, born in Palmyra, Missouri, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil C. Gottman and Zella M. Gottman (Fletcher); her husband Robert Leon Young Sr.; her son Samuel A. Young; and her siblings, Van Lewis Gottman and Zella Ruth Harlow.
She is survived by : her children, Robert L. Young Jr. (Susan) of Girard, IL and Nina "Lucy" Orebaugh (Lester) of Gravois Mills, MO; and her grandchildren, Sarah Benham (Jeremiah) of Chicago, IL, Robert Young III (Rachel) of Dallas, TX, Katherine Young of Girard, IL, Candace Gosney (Nick) of Quincy, IL, Sean Gregory (Janessa) of Columbus, OH, Jason Orebaugh (Nicole) of Payson, IL, Jeff Orebaugh (Gretchen) of Springfield, IL, Justin Orebaugh of Osage Beach, MO and Jamie Orebaugh of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
