It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Powell (Green Castle, Missouri), born in Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on May 19, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. "Bud" Smith and Bernice Smith (Clemons). She is survived by: her husband Gary L. Powell; her daughters, Hayley Newman (Larry) of Kirksville and Heather Kincanon (Brad) of Green Castle; her grandchildren, Braleigh Kincanon and Lucas Newman; her sisters, Judi Snyder (Dale) of Kirksville and Sherre Snyder (Russell) of Green Castle; her siblings-in-law, Charles "Eddie" Powell (Linda) of Novinger and Clara McMann of Kahoka; her daughter Crystal Lee of Kirksville; her granddaughter Hannah Lynn Kincanon; her brother-in-law Billie McMann; and her parents-in-law, Lucille Powell Baker and Clarence Powell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
