It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Atnip of Greenville, Missouri, born in Shook, Missouri, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Atnip and Stella Atnip (Barks); and his siblings, Alva Atnip, Truman Atnip, Lonnie Atnip, Edward Atnip, Jr., Inez Dixon and Stella Fay Atnip.
He is survived by : his wife Marilyn Jones; his children, Eugene Atnip of Greenville and Carolyn Brutenberger of St. Louis; his niece Sheila Hendricks of Evening Shade, AR.; and his grandchildren, Josh Gallamore (Christopher Gallamore) of St. Louis, Leslie Combee (David Hendricks), Nicky of Neelyville and Brooke of St. Louis. He is also survived by 3 great granddaughters, 3 great grandsons and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
