We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2021, at the age of 75, Sharon Kay (Sherry) Ritter Lay in Hannibal, Missouri, born in Chillicothe, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Estil and Minnie Effie Piester Ritter; and her grandson Brett Michael Carper. She is survived by: her spouse Donnie Ray Carper; her children, Michael Todd Carper of LaBelle, MO and Renee Elizabeth Scoggin (Steve) of LaBelle, MO; her brother Randy Ritter (Robin) of Cole Camp, MO; her grandchildren, Michael Scoggin (Amanda), Matthew Scoggin (Lexi Janney), Reitz Carper, Braeden Carper and Jonathan Williams; and her great grandchildren, Elliott and Leah Scoggin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle from 9:30 a. m. till 11 a. m. We ask that those attending please follow Covid guidelines for your safety.
