He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer L. Foote, and Jessie Foote, Sr. (Blank); his sons, Homer L. Foote, III and Jeffrey L. Foote; and his brothers, Jerry Foote, William Foote and Larry Foote.

He is survived by : his wife Alma Foote of Harrisonville; his children, Dustin Foote (Laura) of Pleasant Hill and Devra Jordan (Ray) of Harrisonville; his grandchildren, Beckilee Huitt (Logan) of Pleasant Hill, Sarah Huitt (Austin) of Pleasant Hill, Jess Vogel (Tim) of Peculiar and Cale Francis of Lubbock, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Gaige, Paislee, Caroline, Berklee, Hunter and Lane.
