We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2020, at the age of 67, Mike Sopher (Helena, Missouri), born in Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Sopher and Nivale TerLouw Sopher. He is survived by: his former wife Cathy Menninga; his daughters, Johanna Puyear (Wade) of Tracy, Amanda "Amy" Coachman of Aliso Viejo and Laura Eilers (Daniel) of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Kayana of Brandon, J. J., Isabelle, Olivia and Edison; his brothers, Jeff Sopher (Carol) of New Market and John Sopher (Anne) of Coralville; and his half-sister Lori Stenstrom of Henry, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the Michael Sopher Memorial Fund which will go to Freudenthal Hospice, East Side Baptist Church and the American Cancer Society.
