He is survived by : his wife Cindy DeMent (Patten); his sons, Reuben DeMent (Amy) of Kansas City and Raymond "Andy" DeMent (Stephanie) of Independence, MO; and his grandchildren, Cody, Justin, Tahiri, Logan, Joeleen, Nathan, Angel and Shyanne. He is also survived by his family and friends.
