He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Struchtemeyer and Carolena "Lena" Struchtemeyer (Starkebaum); his former wife Grace Struchtemeyer (Tempel); his wife Doris Struchtemeyer (Tobin); his sons, Ralph and Keith; and his brothers, Leonard and Elmer.
He is survived by: his children, Olin Struchtemeyer (Carla) of Higginsville, Esther Long (Ken) of Lawrence and Kathy Hoeppner (Gary) of Lexington; his daughters-in-law, Marilyn Struchtemeyer of Jefferson City and Judy Struchtemeyer of Higginsville; his stepdaughter Marla Tobin (Ron Bowman) of Warrensburg; and his grandchildren, Brian Struchtemeyer (Gwen), Melissa McNutt (Joel), Penny Harris, Amy Catron (Johnny Walker), Brandon Struchtemeyer (Abbie), Barrett Struchtemeyer (Amanda), Eric Struchtemeyer (Rosina), Brad Long, Hillary Snell (Nate), Kalie Mais (Aaron) and Jamie Liese (Leland). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
