He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Mahurin and Louise Mahurin (Young); and his brothers, Lenuel Mahurin, Sterling "Bud" Mahurin, James Alvin Mahurin, Rayburin Mahurin and Dwight Pete Mahurin.
He is survived by: his wife Alpha Mahurin (Lix); his children, Tammy Mazdra (Christopher) and Leman Genedale Mahurin, Jr. (Kandye); and his grandchildren, Amber Mazdra, Bethany Mazdra (Dylan Baker), Jaime Mazdra, David Mahurin (Linday) and Andrew Mahurin.
