He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Montgomery and Iva Montgomery (Thurston); and his sister Verna Newell. He is survived by: his son Dennis Montgomery (Kathy) of Ellsinore, MO; his sister Linda Montgomery of Hiram; his granddaughter Heather Gowers (Greg) of Ellsinore, MO; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Easton Gowers.
