She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Brunk Sr. and Anna Mae; her brothers, Larry Brunk, Claude Brunk Jr. and Fred Brunk; her niece Denise Brunk; and her sister-in-law Vicki Ellison.

She is survived by : her former life partner Stewart Ellison Jr.; her husband Stew; her children, Michele Waters (Patrick) of Mechanicsville, MD, Darin Ellison (Audra) of Pleasant Hill, MO and Stacey Walsh of Sarasota, FL; her brothers, Gene Brunk (Sandy) of Cuba and Melvin Brunk (Vanessa) of Independence, MO; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah Waters, Jessica Peraud, Amanda Reinhardt, Virginia Smith, Rebekah Mohart, Ashley Smith, Jessica Smith, Taylor Smith, Brittani Scott and Marissa Walsh. She is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
