She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Gillis and Julia Gillis; her husband Ray Fuertsch; her son Bobby Dean; and her sister Petie Dollins.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Leslie, Jay Yado of McAllen, Dean and Sarah Holbird of Tulsa, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Niko Yado and Ava Holbird. She is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
