It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Hays (Independence, Missouri), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on June 20, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her son Russell Scott "Scottie" Hays; her parents, Glenn Filbert and Kathleen Filbert; and her siblings, Michael Ray Filbert and Leslie Loy Parvin.

She is survived by : her husband Russell Hays; and her daughters, Kim Nellist (Rand) and Lynda Mallott (Michael). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care.
