Donald Ross Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Donald Ross (Blue Springs, Missouri). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Donald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Donald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ross and Dorothy Ross (Stoneking); and his sisters, Betty Pritchett and Ann Ross Balhuizen. He is survived by: his sibling's children, John Balhuizen of Prairie Village, KS and Laura Pegg of Flower Mount, TX. He is also survived by 5 great-nephews; 1 great-niece.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs (1600 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (20109 MO-13 BUS, Higginsville, MO 64037).

After retirement in 1994 he served an additional fifteen years, part-time, with the Independence School District Scholarship Foundation.
