She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Brant and Evalena Brant (Haller); her husband Clyde R. Pence; her son Charles Steven Michael; and her siblings, Opal Carter, Bernice Marting, Mercedes O'Connor, Lucille Biernot and Cecil Brant.

She is survived by: her stepchildren, Lynda Parker (Jimmy), Joyce Friedman (Lee) and Clyde Pence (Mary); her daughter-in-law Carol Michael; her grandchildren, Lori Tims (Richard), Jeffrey Parker (Jennifer) and Jeremy Pence; and her sister-in-law Olivia Brant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
