It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Short of Independence, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her husband Eugene Short; her brother Robert Dickens of Decatur, AL; her sons, Alan Short (Karen) of Lee's Summit, MO and Gary Short (Krista) of Hamilton, OH; her grandchildren, Austin, Casey, Lee, Holly Short and Kaitlin Salyer; and her great grandchildren, Ruby, Clara, Luna and Scarlett.
