With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin D. Francis (Independence, Missouri), born in West Plains, Missouri, who passed away on April 4, 2019 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Francis and Berta Huddleston Francis; his daughter-in-law Kim Francis; and his siblings, Floyd, R. C., Duane, Freda, Charlene, Modena, Evelyn and Wanda.

He is survived by: his spouse Ellen Spoor; his children, Jeff Francis of Blue Springs, MO and Donna Francis of Independence; his grandchildren, Caleb, Chandler and Rebekah Francis; and his sister Thelma Russell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
