He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren F. Barr and Ruth V. Barr (Roberts); his brother John Barr (Jack); his uncle Jake; and his aunt Louise.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Jennifer Rentfro (Aaron) of Independence and Christina Leakey (Brian) of Independence; and his grandchildren, Madalyn Leakey, Jessup Leakey and Kennedy Rentfro.
