He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Guthrie and Adara Guthrie (Lyng); and his wife Sandra Guthrie. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Laubscher of Independence, MO and William Dale Guthrie; his grandchildren, Ethan Laubscher, Elliot Laubscher, Amelia Laubscher, Owen Laubscher, Emery Guthrie and Logan Dyer; and his pet Ruby.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meyers Funeral Chapel (1600 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
