She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Welch and Gladys Welch; her siblings, Harold E. Welch and Dorothy Dean Howerton; her children, Keith R. Carpenter (Betty) of Independence and Carol J. Carpenter of Lee's Summit; her grandson Brian K. Carpenter; and also Mikealene R. Evans (David). She was also cherished by 4 great-grandchildren.
