It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Rebecca Tinsley (Independence, Missouri), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 20, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Newcomb and Flora Newcomb; and her siblings, Dora Keener, Randy Newcomb, William "Buddy" Newcomb, Barbara "Bobbie" Davis, James "Jimmy" Newcomb, Sarah "Tiny" Hildebrandt and Helen Swain.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald W. Tinsley; her children, Marc D. Patterson (Jamie) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Valarie R. Ewen (Dean) of Lake St and Clayton W. Timmons (Alexandra) of Independence, MO; her stepdaughter Sara K. Tinsley; her grandchildren, Samantha R. Glassford of Lake St, Darin "Bayley" Wood of Lake St, Kaden A. Patterson of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Kobe D. J. Patterson of Fuquay-Varina, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Tad, Tyler, John, Curtis and Tony; her sisters, Joanne "Jodie" Ellison of Knoxville, TN and Callie M. Jones of Knoxville, TN; and her pet Lilly. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cherished friends.
