He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Palmer and Norine Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Elnora Maitland Palmer; and his children, Paulette Baker Eubanks (Bennie) of Independence, Chuck Palmer (Jennifer) of Independence, Sharon Palmer Hamm (Eric) of Monrovia, CA and Marjorie Palmer of Independence. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
