He is survived by: his son Jeffery R. Carpenter (Lesley); his grandchildren, Bryer, Sam Carpenter of Independence and Jenna Frasier; his great grandchild Roanin Carpenter of Independence; and his siblings, Ron Carpenter (Linda) of Cape Coral, FL, Jeanne Thomas (Marvin) of Fox Lake, IL and Mert Winters (Carpenter) of Raytown, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
