He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Hawkins and Madelle Thomas Hawkins; his brothers, William Neill Hawkins and James Rader Hawkins; and his daughter Esther Faith Hawkins.
He is survived by: his wife Florine Hause Hawkins; and his children, Howard Hawkins of Austin, David Hawkins of Odessa and Joy Lovick of Odessa. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
