She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Albin Smith and Julia Smith; her children, Harold Marshall (Connie), Joe Trapp (Barbara), Sandra Dillon (Dave) and Rickey Trapp (Sue); her husbands, Porter Marshall and George Trapp; and her stepson George Trapp II (Chris). She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital in memory of Ruth.
