He was predeceased by: his brother David M. Stines; his grandparents, Alex Varady (Ruby) and Thomas Stines Jr (Jeanne Marie); his uncle Raymond Varady of Richard Stines; and his aunts, Laura Stines and Virginia Stines.
He is survived by: his children, Taylor Lynn Stines, Thomas "Tommy" I. Stines and Alexa Lauren Stines; his parents, Dee of Swansea, IL and Thomas I. Stines III (Connie) of Belleville, IL.; his wife Shelly Stines of Shiloh, IL.; his stepbrothers, Bennie Hume of Decatur, IL. and Brad Hume of Belleville, IL.; and his uncles, James Stines and Michael Varady (Cheryl).
