We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2019, at the age of 87, James Whitney Scott (Jasper, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Earl W. and Lucille Scott (Probert); his wife Alene Quade; his sons, Rusty (Jean) of Springfield Mo, Dan (Lorrie) of Golden City, Max (Michaela) of Golden City and Bill (Charlotte) of Golden City; his brothers, Bill (Carol) of Golden City and Bob (Judy) of Lees Summit; his brothers-in-law, Don Quade (LaWanda) and Ben Lee (Mary Lee) of Carthage; his aunts, Wanda Probert and Betty Probert of Golden City; and his uncle Ed Weinstein. He was also cherished by 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren and host of cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that gifts be made to the Good Endings program at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Lockwood Mo.
