With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Milton Jacobsen (Jefferson City, Missouri), who passed away on October 11, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Jacobsen and Ruby Jacobsen (Hotvet); and his siblings, Russell, David, Roy Jacobsen and Marilyn Pedersen.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his children, Joel Jacobsen (Michelle) of Olathe, Kansas, Brenda Hise (Ken) of Jefferson City, Missouri, Kay Jacobsen Henderson of Defiance, Missouri and Keith Jacobsen (Deborah) of Fulton, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Chelsea Comiskey (Sam), Jesse Jacobsen (Kayli), Jonah Jacobsen, Maggie Jacobsen, Tatum Nelson (Aaron), Jack Henderson, Jacoba Jacobsen, Mark Jacobsen (Allie) and Jerimiah Jacobsen; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Lillian Comiskey; and his brother Stan (Jackie) of Evergreen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Alzheimer's Association.
