It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Jean Hassinger of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Amelia Uffelman (Lalk) and John Uffelman; her sister Patricia; her brother-in-law Ralph Jones; and her brother Roger Uffelman.
She is survived by: her children, David Hassinger, Rebecca Hassinger and Sara Barnett (Richard); her grandchildren, Megan Hassinger, Stephanie Niemeyer, Nicholas Barnett (Emily), Jesse Hassinger, Crystal Lein (Tony), Benjamin Barnett (Samantha) and Jonathan Hassinger; and her sisters, Donna Riley (Gerald), Janet Buscher and Judy Derks. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Homes (3210 N 10 Mile Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 4:15 PM at the same location.
