We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020, at the age of 87, Marjorie L. Megown of Jefferson City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Ralph Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Dunavant; and her daughter Kathy Sue. She is survived by: her husband Herschel E. "Sonny" Megown; her daughters, Jeri Lynn James of Jefferson City and Marianne Picone (Thomas) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Mari K. Jones (Justin) of Jefferson City and Tim Briggs II (Kristin) of Eldorado, KS; and her great grandchildren, Macie, Rhett, River Briggs of Eldorado, KS and Dennis Baker.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
