Though Mary Ila may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Evilsizer and Ocie Evilsizer (Martin); her former husband Edward Callison of Salisbury; her husband James R. Carter; and her grandson Joe Callison.
She is survived by: her sons, James W. Callison of Jefferson City and Edward W. Callison, Jr. (Becky) of Texas; and her stepchildren, Janet Wright of Columbia and Larry Carter (Kayla) of Ellsbury. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
