He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Bernard and Teresa Bernadine Lage (Veltrop); his grandson Brody Kempker; his son-in-law Marvin Kempker; his siblings, Loraine Lage, Mary Ann Haller (Clarence), Regina Falter, Joseph Lage, James Lage and Walter Lage; his sister-in-law Norine Lage; and his parents-in-law, Fred Goeke, Sr., Viola Koenigsfeld, Raymond Koenigsfeld and Marvin Herigon.
He is survived by : his wife LaVerne; his children, Mary Kay Kempker (Gary Sr.), Jane Kempker (Wardsville) and John Lage (Martha); his grandchildren, Gary Kempker Jr. (Jessica), Ambrosia Kempker, Sydney Kempker, Simon Kempker, Maghan Lage, Chad Lage, Rebecca Lage and Jack Lage; his great grandchildren, Gavyn Kempker and Hailey Kempker; his brothers, Lawrence Lage, Bernard Lage (Linda) and Wilbur Lage (Carol); his siblings-in-law, Doris Lage and Lee Falter (Teresa); and his parents-in-law, Ann Goeke, Rose Porting Lahr Talken, Marcella Koenigsfeld, Clarence Koenigsfeld (Margie), George Koenigsfeld (Sarah), Marilyn Herigon, Leon Koenigsfeld (Eileen), Frances Veltrop (Harold) and Andrew Koenigsfeld (Mary Pat).
