With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lon Nelson (Jefferson City, Missouri), born in Sandwich, Illinois, who passed away on September 3, 2019 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlin Nelson and Evelyn Nelson (Smith); and his brother Orlin Dean Nelson. He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Nelson (Amy) of Kaiser and Dylon Nelson of Jefferson City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Charity, Alysa and Chance; and his sisters, Ellen Covington of Lake Ozark and Elizabeth Pope (Larry) of Brazito, Missouri. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
