He was predeceased by: his parents, Boone Chiles and Helen Chiles (Dearing); his stepmother Earlene Chiles; and his brother Bill Chiles. He is survived by: his sons, Robert E. Chiles, Jr. (Kary) of Jefferson City, Bill W. Chiles (Stacy) of Jefferson City and David Chiles (Leslie) of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Jared Chiles, Kelley Chiles, Katlyn Chiles, Halle Chiles, Brendan Chiles, Logan Chiles, Reece Chiles and Alex Chiles; and his great grandchild Lillian Chiles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
