It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Lee Smith (Joplin, Missouri), who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Smith and Belma Smith (Clark); and his siblings, Keith Hartley, Irene Mullins and Shirley Hasse.
He is survived by: his wife Diane McKnight; his children, Walter Smith of Ava, MO, Gina Martin of Colorado Springs, CO, Leanne Hand (Preston) and Joplin; and his sisters, Jo Allene Brannon (Charles) and Kathy Stone. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
