He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Ryan and James "Jimmie" Ryan; and his former wife Janis. He is survived by: his wife Millie Myers-Ryan; his daughters, Terri Benford of Joplin, Julie Matheny (Phil) of Omaha, NE and Lisa Ryan (Ralph Groen) of Raleigh, NC; his stepchildren, David Myers (Kim) of Warsaw, MO and Diana Conner (Jerry) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Eric Benford (Lyndsey) of Joplin, Kyle Benford of Joplin, Jennifer Soard (Jeff) of Joplin, Grace Matheny (Jacob) and Wesley Matheny (Hannah) of Omaha, NE; his stepgrandchildren, Natasha Williams (Brett), Brandon Myers, Sarah Statler (Matt), Abby Howell (Zach) of Wichita, KS and Justin Conner (Paula) of Peterborough, England; and his sister Lynne Spiva (Scott) of Springdale, AR. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
