It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles L. Salyers (Kahoka, Missouri), who passed away on September 25, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Salyers and Lorine Young Salyers; his father-in-law Jimmy McGuinness; his siblings, Jimmy, Marvin Salyers and Arlene Goss; and his brother-in-law Max Westercamp.

He is survived by : his wife Betty McGuinness; his mother-in-law Betty McGuinness of Kahoka; his children, Charles L. "Chuck" Salyers (Holly) of Luray, MO and Teri Neeley (James) of Wickliffe, KY; his grandchildren, Brandon Salyers, Courtney Lynn Burlingame of Wyaconda, Megan Salyers of Kahoka, Kelsey Salyers of Luray, Ebonie Shelton (Jordan Herich) of Columbia, Hanna Seyb (Marty) of Bardwell, KY, Charli Walters (Scott) of Wickliffe, KY, Breanna "Breezy" Drummond (Chase) of Barlow, KY and Brennen "Bubba" Neeley of Washington, DC; his great grandchildren, Miranda, Dominic, Braxton Salyers, Victor Steele, Cameron Leeper, Adalaid Seyb and Oliver Drummond; his siblings, Gary Salyers (Jeanne) of Leland, IL, Gail Westercamp of Bonaparte, IA and Sharon Sloat (Eric) of Carthage, IL; and his aunts, Ilda "Chubbs" Frazier of St. Louis, MO and Waneta Saunders (Larry) of Farmington, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
