She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Elmo and Audrey Fern Howard (Bowen); her sister Arthurlene; her husband Ronald Johnson; her former husband Hillis Rainbolt; her son Michael A. Rainbolt; her grandson Dakotah Rainbolt; her great great grandchild Timmy Burch; her brother David Howard; and her siblings-in-law, John S. "Jack" Rainbolt, James "Jim" Higbee, Ray Curry, Robert McLeod, Laverne Johnson (Edna), Clifford Johnson (Miriam), Floyd Johnson (Kathryn), Donald Johnson (Inez), Donna Howard (Junk), Mary Howard (Smoot), Billie Curry (Rainbolt), BettyAnn McLeod (Rainbolt), Vivian Malone (Robert) and Ardith Blackwell (Hadley).
She is survived by: her children, James Rainbolt (Leslie) of Keokuk, IA, Kathleen Montoya (Angelo) of Farmington, NM, Paula Yount (James) of Florissant, MO and Lynda Kerr (Andy) of Kahoka; her grandchildren, Lisa Rohrer (Roger), LeAnn Baker, Misty Rainbolt, Shawna Rainbolt, Christine Mills (Keith), Trish Wade (Atkinson), Brandon Rainbolt, Natasha Trame (Greg), Amanda Montoya, Sara Montoya, Curtis Yount (Dayna), Kimala Johnson, Robert Yount, Aaron Yount, Jesse Yount, Tyrel Kerr and Audrey Schlatter (Eric); her sister Dorothy Higbee; and her sister-in-law Anna Rainbolt (Nichols). She is also survived by thirty-eight great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great grandchildren.
A wake was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Vigen Memorial (278 W Main St, Kahoka, MO 63445). Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Patrick (2 Erin Cir, St Patrick, MO 63466).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Clark County Food Pantry.
