He was predeceased by : his parents, Remigio Alvarez Velazquez and Sofia Rogel Roman. He is survived by : his wife Marcela; and his children, Angelica, Alfredo, Beatriz, Graciela, Patricia, Victor, Juan, Silvia and Joaquín. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
